LAGELU GRAMMAR SCHOOL HOLDS VALEDICTORY SERVICE, INDUCTION AND PRIZE GIVING DAY

16th August, 2017 marks another spectacular day in the history of Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan when the school under its management team led by the Principal Mr Tope Onipede orchestrated a befitting valedictory service for the outgoing students of the 2016/17 academic session.

The National President, LAGSOBA, Professor Olufemi Omisore (FNITP, JP) led the induction segment with the presentation of induction certificates to the outgoing students in  welcoming them into the  association of old boys.

Awards and prizes were showered on students who performed excellently as well as teachers who distinguished themselves in rendering selfless service to the school.

1981 set members facilitated donations amounted to about N100,000 while members of 1993 set donated text books amounted to about N300,000 for the use by the students of the school. Many individuals also registered their donations that were won by the students.

Ovation was louder when the overall best student who happened to be the Senior prefect in person of Master Adekunle Adedolapo won most of the awards and prizes.

Parents, teachers and well wishers were delighted witnessing high level of commitment prepared in nurturing the students of Lagelu Grammar School through its management, the School Governing Board and the Old Boys Association distinguishing them from other schools in Oyo State.

We say congratulations to the newly inducted students and we wish them success in their future endeavors.
