“When beggers die, no comets is seen. Heavens themselves blaze forth the death of Princes…!”

The final rites of passage for our friend, brother and colleague; the late Arch Kola Oladunjoye; Senior lecturer at the Polytechnic, Ibadan and former Vice Chairman of the LAGSOBA 1981 Class set, held this Friday 19th February,2021 at the New Covenant Church, Bashorun area circuit, Ibadan.

Ministering at the service, the Church area Pastor extolled the outstanding virtues of the departed and his selfless contributions and love to the church of God, his family and humanity across stratas and borders of endeavor.
He was described as a great family man, who showed excellent commitment to his wife and children and his extended family at large. While also consoling the family and loved ones to mourn in the strength of God, the clergy reminded all that death is a necessary end for every mortal.

Various touching testimonies and glowing tributes were given by church members, friends and associates of the deceased while the LAGSOBA 1981 stream, led by their Class set Chairman; Mr Yinka Oyinlola paid a deserving last respect to their departed colleague.
His body was later committed to mother earth at his Akobo residence, after the Church funeral service.

Earlier, a well attended service of songs and wake keep, held on Thursday, at his Akobo residence, where members of the Great Ife Alumni, where he was a prominent member, rendered a blazing tribute for their departed hero.

The LAGSOBA National President; Hon Justice O.A Adeniyi, was represented at the various events by the National Secretary, Mr Yemi Badru.

The late Arch Oladunjoye; a committed Lagellite and enthusiast of LAGSOBA, is survived by his loving wife and four children.
He will be sorely missed!

May his loving and illustrious soul find everlasting peace in the bosom of the lord.
