It was a glorious outing on Thursday 16th March, 2017 for the management of Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan under the able leadership of the Principal, Mr. Tope Onipede as it organized and held a peaceful 2017 Inter-House Sports Competition.

The event which had a cream of old boys in attendance had the National President, Prof. Chief Olufemi Omisore and his National Executive team fully on ground. Also in attendance was the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Col. Bola Ogunsanwo (rtd.); first old boy Principal, Chief John Adelodun Akinpelu; former Ibadan branch Chairman & CCII 2nd Vice President, Alh. Kola Adetona; Chairman, Ibadan branch, Alh. Kola Animasaun as well as Chairmen of various sets of LAGSOBA. Our revered father and pioneer Principal, Chief Ayo Labiyi was also at the event as the father of the day.

At the end of the keenly contested competitions, Oluyole House (i.e.Blue House) emerged the over all winner. The management of the School later used the occasion to honour the duo of Alh. Kola Adetona and the National Secretary, Comrade Wale Adeoye for their outstanding commitments to the development of the School.

We acknowledge the efforts of the 1989 set under the leadership of Hon. Tunde Adeleke for printing the programme booklets for the events free of charge for the school. The 1982 set and all other sets and individuals who added colour to the event are also appreciated.

Wishing the school all the best.
